What Message Templates Are
Templates are pre-approved message formats required for business-initiated conversations. They are commonly used for order updates, reminders, announcements, and marketing campaigns.
Creating a Template
To create a template, open the Templates section and click Create New. Select the appropriate category, write your message content, and submit it for approval.
Approval Timeline
Template approval usually takes anywhere from a few minutes to 24 hours depending on Meta’s review process.
Common Rejection Reasons
Templates may be rejected if they contain promotional content in the wrong category, lack clear opt-in references, or use overly generic wording.
